  1. Welcome to the forum Shane, I am sure others have had that issue and will help if they can KAA
  2. Hi Jayson yes the Presara has it all as far as extras..I went with a nice Clarion VX506AU head unit..cost a little but was well worth it, also had Monster fit the unit as they had the trim surround that fitted perfectly to make it look like it was always there..plus the harness so all steering wheel controls functioned. I took some pic's that are on my profile..enjoy your upgrading and let us see what you decide on KAA
  3. Welcome to the forum Jayson, I am sure many will be able to throw ideas at you..like anything it tends to be a personal choice as to what you do and how far you're prepared to go with any custom work, and mostly costs involved..My personal choice is to leave my Presara as stock as I can..all I went with was a awesome head unit, some de badging and a grill change and basically that is it..I am sure you will get ideas from our awesome people on here Keep Well KAA
  4. Well like most cars i think if you floor it from stand still yes get the slight bunny hopping as the traction control kicks in..I never floor it from stand still..I have no need to do that as my days of being a boy racer are long gone now..if I still had my mach 1 mustang however well that's a different and old story..i do find if i apply decent amount of lead foot I get great traction and braking ability on these tyres even in wet conditions..so depending on your driving style from the stand still position I would suggest good quality touring tyres..its the old story you get what you pay for and how you take care of them KAA
  5. I find they are very responsive to flooring it..I don't tend to do that often but have done to get past trucks etc on long stretches of road..usually I am just the patient take my time kinda driver, but on very wet days excellent at cornering and around roundabouts Hope that helps Tom Keep Safe KAA
  6. Currently running Michelin Primacy 4...225/50R17 98V on my Presara..have done only close to 5,000 KLM on them but wearing very well and are excellent in wet weather also found them very quiet on highway conditions..we don't travel great distances but looking forward now to doing a country trip to escape the 4 walls we have been in for months now so I can recommend them, not the cheapest around but worth the extra peace of mind KAA
  7. Thanks Ash I have ordered one today..and as I don't have the guns in the arms to manually do the wheel nuts with the normal cross brace anymore I decided to treat myself and the price was great.. What Socket are you using now days for the gun?..and what torque setting do you set your gun at?.. Thanks mate for the post it is appreciated Keep Well KAA
  8. Welcome to the forum John, yes the Kluger is a very reliable vehicle, and sounds like you have found a nice one..you will find a great following on here Keep Well KAA
  9. Hi all, I am looking into replacing the bulbs in my Presara's driving lights, has anyone got any good suggestions and details as to what is worth looking at...mostly I am after a nice white light that is legal and provides good brightness..I have looked online but have not looked at how easy they are to replace yet so any hints and tips welcomed Thanks in advance KAA
  10. Ahh Ash the good old days, you and Tony have brought back memories of the joyful days of ultra cheap petrol and parts.. I also saw the battery specials advertised at Supercheap but as I only bought a new battery a year ago I decided to wait and see what comes up in the future, I can never see the justification for battery's to be around $200 you would think they would be lifetime warranties for that sort of price Keep Well Guys KAA
  11. Welcome to the forum Howard, yes we are all missing the long trips interstate for holidays and visiting family, hopefully soon all will reopen and we can once again be out and about. When the time arrives enjoy that great outdoor experince safely Keep Safe KAA
  12. Hi Jack, another option (depending on how your butt feels in the seat ) is a seat insert, there are a lot at your local supercheap/autobarn stores, let us know the outcome KAA
  13. Basically the same comment as Ash, the less mileage is worth considering on the SX6, make sure the service history is well up too date and they have all the paperwork As both are about the same age it thens comes down to which you really find drives the best feels the tightest and smooth on the road and what you think will need changing soon..as Ash said make sure there has been that oil line fix on the rear VVTI as it was a huge issue. Let us know what you end up deciding on and maybe some Pic's as well and never be afraid to ask for advise or help Good Luck KAA
  14. A great question Tony i hope we get some to reply as it is an interesting idea..as most know already the Aurion series seems to pull to the left a bit even a while after a good alignment..I am used too it now after years of driving our Presara ,but I do notice it every now and then the slight pull to the left..if the Nolathane bushings do help i would invest in some for future work that will be required Keep Safe All KAA
  15. Well worth the wait i would agree Tony, They do look very nice quality..i can imagine the gun coming out very soon for a trial run with them..let us know how that went as I have made a note of the name and sizes from the first pic you posted today and added them to the santa list Keep Safe Mate KAA
  16. OMG Tony...you got my heart racing with these tools and the prices WOW is right..dam the credit card is screaming let me loose..awesome deal is right..as i told Ash the other day I am cleaning out the garage which was long overdue..and keeping the tools i do regularly use and ditching the ones that were made when Jesus wore short pants..now you have me itching to fill the tool boxes and cabinet..thanks for the pics..they look great sets mate well done. Now just give me your credit card details so i can unleash on trade tools website LOL Thanks Mate Keep Safe KAA
  17. Yes I would get into Toyota about it..nothing to lose..certainly looks like a manufacturing issue and hope they will organize a fix, there is always a way of getting it sorted by an interior specialist just means money from your pocket
  18. Welcome to the forum Matt thanks for the Pic's looks nice KAA
  19. Same advice as Ashley for you Robert..allow the broker to do all the hard yards plus they know the contacts to get you the best possible deal KAA
  20. Welcome to the forum Tom, sounds like you found a real gem so congratulations..a family member had a 2004 Avalon and loved it so I am sure there are others out there like-minded who will welcome you to the forum Stay Safe KAA
  21. Welcome to the forum Robert, Let us know when you get your beast and maybe a few Pic's of it as well..Hope you enjoy it and let us know if you need any advise or can add to our bank of knowledge on here already, as we all try to help each other on here as much as possible KAA
  22. LOL Tony, many years ago we lived in Lane Cove and after 8 months i one day said to the lady I have had enough of this place way too busy way too loud beautiful but time to leave and get away from the rat race world. Moved up here to The Central Coast and have never looked back..so much beauty here and quiet..there are Morons but I tend to have a sixth sense or maybe it is a unknown feature built into Aurions they know when the idiots are coming LOL Keep Well Mate KAA
  23. Exactly Ash morons will always be with us, I am hoping here on the Central Coast most will stay in Sydney for a while longer.. Keep Safe KAA
  24. Sort of a last spending spree before going into a financial lockdown [for myself]. LOL Ash, A good saying..As you have been tempting the "MUST HAVE" geek in me lately I had to force myself into lockdown for at least 2 months..having spent on my wife with a new dryer and phone..I am not a wanting person usually but so many good deals are about these days..so I decided to wait..write a list..and then in a few months I will let loose as by then I can say, well I did put you first dear and get away with it LOL KAA
  25. Very much the same from me Baskp, I actually enjoy the standard look of my Aurion's wheels..so I try to keep them looking good and spend the cash on top quality tyres which after all is the only thing between you and the road..so whatever wheels you go for put a bit more thought into the black things on them as they could save your life KAA
