Official:

Full-time student, B Eng (Mechanical), previously B Eng (Mechatronics) but I hated the electronics stuff so I changed.

Part-time work at OneSteel Market Mills (Wire), mainly doing time and motion studies, process engineering, efficiency and delay optimisation

Unofficial:

Sole TOCAU AE102 sedan representative

Full-time computer gamer

Amateur badminton hack (and team captain in local comps)

I'm now a draftsman/design engineer working on LHDs (Load Haul Dump) vehicles for coal mines.

Wow, forgot how long ago I posted in here....

Unofficial remains, although calling me a "hack" at badminton has always been a bit of a joke, I'm A-grade (when in form) and also represented Uni at the Eastern and Australian Uni Games.

Official now stands at:

Graduated B Eng (Mechanical) in 2009 after 7 1/2 years at uni

Mechanical Engineer at Caterpillar Global Mining (formerly Bucyrus), coming up on 2 years now, currently deployed on a 12 month rotation in longwall shearers (last rotation was diesel vehicles and continuous miners)

Hey Hiro,

I used to be a badminton hack, played Australasian comps for NSW

Studied engineering too, construction though.

I currently manage the smash side of a mechanical and collision repair workshop. Did not come from this trade, but have seen many and hope I can help contribute to this community.
