Hey guys - great recon run :D Loving those photos!

I reckon leave the plan as is and have lunch at Sky High, I know we could do a bbq but it just saves the hassle of bringing it all and packing up afterwards, make some other buggers cook and clean up lol Paying a deposit shouldn't be too bad, surely it doesn't have to be a large one? At any rate there is now plenty of time to chip in, and we have quite a few definites :)

hmm, so its gonna be a few aurions, 2 camrys and 100000000000 corollas? LOL NICE!

The bbq idea would be great! Save money, easier to socialise but the only issue would be melbournes weather!

But that being said, im down with whatever fellas

..can we just avoid as much speed bumps as possible? hahaha.

i dont think i even saw one to be quite honest, the only one i saw was the ones with the retractable spikes on them, at one stage, i thought my wheels were gonna pop going over them :( heard a nasty noise but it would have been a loud bang if my tyres slashed <_<

Oh very good. I remember driving near there with the girlfriend over summer and i remmeber them retractable spikes. I made her get out and step on them to see if they would come down and then i drove over them and she got back in the car....and was very annoyed LOL

Excellent update to the first post Johnny :D Great to have all the details locked in so people can get themselves organised - it'll be a great group of cars and a great day, we're all a good bunch of people so I don't reckon we'll have any problems sticking together :) Will be nice to have a gentler cruise and catch-up with some photos and finish off with a bit of driving :D

And hooray I won't be the only Camry :D (Although Lawrence was there last time with the Gen 5)

He is more than welcome to come, just remind him that it won't be a spirited run, but rather an easy, gentle drive. :P

Sorry guys no DC2 or i'll have to try and take him and dose it and make my engine light come on again.. lol jks

Good to hear your coming Lee! Your ride is looking great!

And for unique.. we'll call you out next time wen we have our small meets around the westside.. for some same ol same ol

Gonna be a great day

haha Farnsworth FTW! :D

Im thinking a bbq would be better suited provided weather is ok. Doesnt take much to throw a few snags on. Allow for 2 sausages and bread per person. So get around 50 snags

and have a small 50c donation for each sausage... Money can go to the person who buys the snags and what not.

All you need is sausages, bread, tongs and oil. Easy done. Good way to socialise too.

What are others thoughts?

Thanks man, appreciate it :)

shin0bi, I've been living in the broady area for almost 5 years and I have never seen your car. I always come across the same Skyline's etc and the muzza's in there hotted up two door's. They are hard to forgot.

edit: If I come on a meet up just be prepared to look at a stocky Aurion. My only mod's in the near(hint) future would be a system.

Yeah well that's true, I guess if we keep it simple then it's not so hard to do/pack-up. Someone will just have to pack a nice big esky for the snags hehehe And then everyone could just byo drinks and maybe a snack to share? Oh and someone bring some paper towel to clean the bbq lol

Doesn't matter whether your car is hotted up beyond belief or stock as a rock, we're all there to enjoy each other's company and appreciate each others rides all the same :) It's a great way to meet like-minded people and swap information, I know I have picked the guys brains regarding mods to the Camry and will continue to do so heheheh So please come along! :)

And Lee, stoked that you can make it - I've gotta see those Buddy Club's up close again :D

+1 on that idea. Keepin it plain and simple would be good.

Low clouds, High of 16 and low of 12

PWOR! i never knew there was a 15 day forecast. goes to show how accurate technology can be these days... or not <_< the news cant even get the 7 day forecast right

also, maybe better to have a forecast in the dandenong ranges, its bound to be a couple or more degrees cooler :)

if the sausages have the go, i'm happy to go buy stuff i'll just divide by whoever comes on the day. thats bread (white + wholemeal) + sauages (low fat? :P ) + sauce (bbq + tomato) + tongs + butter + pot scourer + tissues/napkins and blah anything else? :P

Haha yeah, i noticed that that i can be accurate 50% of the time but usually it changes closer to the date.

Is there adequate shelter in the bbq area? Maybe a club vote on where we should eat would settle this? Add a poll or something to this topic maybe?
