About time someone made use of these things ;)

yer at least they are advertising for me :D if i could just get my hands on some bloody 90mm white ones now!!!!!!

Have you got them wired up so that all three "elements" come on at once when you use the brakes?

Yer they sure do mate! was a bit of work but really worth the effort.

Were did you get the compound and wax from? Looks new!

Any auto paint supplier will have that stuff.

But any cutting compound is just as good and any half decent wax will do the same.

a while ? keep it on forever ! oh unless you cook up something even more awesome.

Cheers Jeffy , i do like the modern look of the newer hybrid tail lights, but these look waaaaaay sportier and match better with the modded front ones.

Got the best of both worlds :D

I nightshaded the lights on my R31 when I had it. No idea what the percentage was but it passed roadworthy when I sold it. Depends on who you know I think ;)

That passed, somehow.

Thats looked great! always wanted to won on of these models, just for the rear lights!

How dark can we legally go for tail light tints?

-none

Tail light tints are 100% illegal, well in vic anyways, not sure about the rest of the states..

yer i thought that would be the case here too.

This stuff would be the go; http://www.ebay.com....=item3cbab55d54

That way you could peel it off if you got defected

I asked the guy today if i get done will this stuff peel off on the spot, he said yes.... could look a bit messy tho.

There's a plastidip version on eBay, which ill found when I'm home.

That peels off 100% if you do get into trouble

I think Chris is getting that done to his aurion.

Nice!!! Should have tinted the reflectors aswell though. They just stand out a little bit too much now. Oh and I'm not plasti dipping my tail lights now. Got some advice from professionals and it won't give me the look I want so ill be biting the bullet and getting mine professionally tinted when my whole rear end comes together

Cheers mate, plastidip was always going to look silly. just the thought of paying some one to hold a can to your car and push a nozzle sounded silly.

i agree with the lower lights , needs your smoked style lower lights...

I think i'll do a custom SMD one so it matches perfect with the tailights.

Does this mean i'll have a new rear bar to play with?????

I wasn't sure on them until I saw that vid :D Deff need to tint the reflectors so the red shade matches up

Agreed. Once the reflectors are smded up and then tinted the same as the tail lights it will complete the rear end.

Haha what kinda crazy mod would you want to do with my rear bar huh ;)
