1# 1984 Toyota Corolla DX 1.3 5sp Sedan- White - Reliable apart from having to use a shoe string to tie down the battery on a long journey when the lights went out late at night

2# 1999 Toyota 4 Runner 3.5 V6 -Green-This was an awesome truck, though a left hander (Colorado USA)

3# 2001 Toyota Camry 3.0 V6 GL auto - Green-, This car was decked out as it was the Toyota dealers service manager car got it with 19,000ks on it, paid for it even before seeing it and when we traded it we got more then what we paid for it. We traded this after spotting a new rav when driving past another Toyota dealer 6 months later, if we had hindsight we probably would have kept the camry.

#4 2002 Toyota Rav4 3dr 5sp Limited - Champagne - funky and a good handler but interior a bit budget and not that economical, harsh engine note at 100kmph and generally felt like something built in Korea (fog lights and indicators not fitted correctly, side mouldings fell off). Had annoying rattles and squeaks especially in the dash. And if you ever buy one get the auto as the 5sp will kill your shins in stop go traffic as the clutch is quite hard and set quite high.

#5 2000 Toyota Corolla X 1.5vvti auto - Due to high petrol prices this was an inevitable purchase it was this or a 05 Camry Sportivo 2.4, but saw this car on the yard and at less then half the price of the camry it was a done deal, I actually like this car, nice looking feels solid no squeaks rattles and feels alot more expensive then what it really is. The small engine size is'nt that noticeable even in auto form, a great commuter car and great in traffic.

#6 ????? still thinking about that one, normally get a new Toyota when the car needs new tyres. :P

Just 2 - 1973 KE20 Corolla and 2003 Sportivo.

The best Toyota I've ever driven however was my boss's 1994 import TT Supra. It was heavily modified and once featured on Autospeed.

My wife had a 87 Seca 4age which I traded on a 97 Integra (due to the list of repairs on the seca being endless) and now the 03 Sportivo. Don't mind the toyota's but honda's are thick in my family and still reckon they're the best jap car made. As for the rest of my family they all own Honda's and VW's(old ones made of real steel LOL) and I've got a 76 Kombi with a difference and the Brissy boys can vouch for it and the way it goes. Also got a 78 honda civic that I've spent $18 000 on in a long term restoration/ severe modification project.
