- 1991 Toyota Camry (SV21)

- 2007 Toyota Aurion Sportivo SX6

- 2007 TRD Aurion 3500SL

I liked the Camry the most. Became my car in 2004 and had it until 2008. It was in the family since early 1992 and despite it being slow, there were feelings attached to it.

- 1985 Mazda 323

- 1987 VL Commodore Berlina

- 1997 VT Commodore Exec

- 2007 Toyota Aurion ZR6

As you can see, my next car will not exist until at least 2017 hence why I have no issue's playing with the Aurion for awhile.

Out of all the above I'm torn between the 323 and the Aurion as my favorite. The 323 was my first car and thus had many many memories tied to it. The commodores were fun at first and excellent for modding, but ultimately were money pits and the poor interior quality (at least for the VT) detracted from the vehicle overall everytime I had to drive it anywhere.

Well Mines a pretty short list,

- 1992 Toyota SV21 Camry CSI wagon (very last of the breed)

- 2008 Ford BF MK11 Falcon XR6 Turbo Turbine Edition

- 2008 Toyota Aurion Sportivo ZR6

Torn between the Camry and the Aurion, although the XR6T was an animal id was a dud and flawed. Camry was my first car and never put a foot wrong was a great reliable car and i looked after it just like i do my current ZR6, BUT after spending a few days away from my car in the Golf it's actually struck me how much of a "bond" I’ve made with the Aurion, therefore is my favourite.

1.) 1971 HQ GTS 2-door 253 V8 auto (first car which I fully restored with my dad at 17 yrs of age)

2.) 1972 LJ GTR-XU1 'Bathurst' Torana (Red) but original colour was 'strike me pink' (fastest car I have ever owned) blew engine and sold it for $4800 back in 1988.

3.) 1972 Renault 12 (needed a car quickly) thrashed the crap out of this for around a year until the head gasket went!

4.) 1971 Austin 1800 mk II (52K original miles and to this day one of the most comfortable/cozy cars I have ever owned) 'floats on fluid too'!!

5.) 1983 VH-SLE Commodore (253 V8 auto 'blue & silver two tone) nice car until 'stolen' from Adelaide city and involved in a high speed chase with cops and 'written off'!

6.) 1987 VL Calais Turbo auto 'Burgundy' ( I bought this car in 1995 from an old guy and it only had 60000km) fantastic 'mint' machine that served me well until first child came along.

7.) 2000 VX Acclaim Wagon 'Tungsten' my first 'brand new' car which I bought in 2000 when I left Holden's (not one problem in 10 years and kept my family and I safe)

8.) 2008 Tarago GLX 'black' V6 (we wanted one of these for years) this one is a little special as it has factory leather and a Clarion 15" roof mounted DVD and Toyota Sat Nav.

So there you go. Quite a few different cars with their own personalities.

I have some nice plans for the Tarago if it all goes well (would love to 'stuff' a TRD blower in there at some stage)

My list isn't a very long list but it's a list none the less... Yeah that'll do...

- 1986 Toyota Corolla CSX (AE82) Hatch Red - 3spd Auto 1.6L 4A-C -> My first car and still one of my favorites.

- 1992 Ford Falcon GLi (EB II) Sedan White - 4spd Auto 4.0L 6cyl -> My first and only FR vehicle, it was a comfy ride but had horrible peformance. Even after a reconditioned/rebuilt engine. LPG killed this car. :(

- 2007 Toyota Corolla Levin ZR (ZRE152) Hatch Black - 4spd Auto 1.8L 2ZR-FE -> My first brand new car, $34,990 drive away with almost all extras from the factory. Unfortunately this car turned into a HUGE lemon at just 3,300kms.

- 2008 Toyota Corolla Levin ZR (ZRE152) Hatch Black - 4spd Auto 1.8L 2ZR-FE -> Same car as before however this was a brand new replacement from Toyota Australia due to the issues the previous one had. Apparently this is a VERY rare occurance! I was very happy! :)

- 2007 Toyota Aurion Sportivo ZR6 (GSV40R) Sedan Aurora Gold - 6spd Auto 3.5L 2GR-FE -> My current car and the car i've owned for the longest as well. This car has had mods like intake, suspension, front and rear sway bars/braces and custom 18" wheels. Bought at 33,400km, now at 121,100km after just 3 years. :)

Where do I begin?

1977 - Renault R10 – Ugly but cheap first car. (Burgundy.)

1977 - HK Monaro – 186S 4 speed Opel gearbox that I kept breaking second gear. (Mako Blue)

1978 -HQ Kingswood - 202 4 speed with A/C Power steering. Otherwise stock. (Juniper Green)

1979 - 75 TD Cortina – 250 with 2v head and big Holley - 4 speed. 85,000 KM in 2 years. (The fuel bill kept me broke) (Tropic Gold.)

1981 - XY Falcon Wagon – Fitted with a 250 cross flow engine. Used it to move from Cairns to Mackay in 82. (Copper Bronze)

1982 - 74 Mazda 929 Wagon. Work pig. Heaps of rust. (Army Green. )

1983 - 75 Mazda 929 Wagon. Transplanted Engine, Gearbox, Front end and Interior from previous car to have a non rusty car. (Purple. )

1984 - 81 Mazda 626 sedan – Really reliable. It went heaps better after I blocked the exhaust gas recirculation tube and removed the vanes from the air pump. (White)

1985 - 79 Mazda 626 sedan. My worst car ever. The dealer had filled the engine with STP or Wynns or some stop smoke stuff. After the first service it blew heaps of smoke so I

sold it cheap. (Yellow)

1988 – 1985 Mazda 929 sedan. Really great cruise car but I owed my dad some money from our house deposit and surrendered it to him. (White)

1989 – 1980 Fairlane Auto. This taught me a great lesson in never lending your car to someone to do a long trip. It came back with the engine cooked. Valve stem seals were melted and splattered all over the top of the head. Plug lead ends burnt off too. From then everything went wrong. I ended up parting it out. (Hermitage red)

1994 – XE Falcon 4.1 - 4 speed. It was all bogged up and turned out to be only worth selling for a speedway car. (Beige)

2001 – 2000 AU Falcon sedan. This had been a Special Order Vehicle from Metro Ford. Lowered Sport Suspension and XR6 engine. Mods included some wheels, Spoiler, Stereo and custom sheepskin seat covers all around. Yes it was possibly the most hated car on Aussie roads for many years but we never had any major problems with it in 8 years. (White)

2001 – 1998 Mitsubishi Mirage. Absolutely the most reliable and economical car I ever owned. (White)

2008 - 1977 RA 28 Project car previously mentioned. (Blue)

2009 – 2005 BF Falcon – We had a few teething problems with brakes staying on but that was an easy fix for Brakes plus in Springwood. (White)

2011 – 1977 RA28 Project car because the other one would cost more to get repaired and have the rust cut out. (Multi Colored)

There were a few I bought for parts and wrecking but non worth adding to this list.

Next car will definitely not be White. SO over it.

1973 VH Valiant Ranger 215 3spd column shift powder blue sedan....a bucket o bolts but got me from Kalbarri to Perth back in 1982.

1979 Chrysler Sigma stn wgn...good car but guzzled the oil like no tomorrow, sold it for 3500 around 1989.

1990 Subaru Fiori "sparkly green"colour...first new car! Wrote it off within the year ;0(.

1990 FSM Niki red...bought this cash cause was broke after Fiori was totaled....SUICIDE! CAR! no brakes in moisture of any kind but i managed a thrilling 90km per hour along Kwinana fwy lol.

1996 Suzuki Alto...second new car, nice car and RELIABLE after the FSM.My first wht car aswell ;0).

1998 Daihatsu Applause burgundy mica sedan/hatch thingy...third new car. What a beauty she was and a step up in power too boot, the best car up to that point easily.

2005 Mazda Bravo 4x2 trayback 4speed AUTO! and wht with a Mazda blue tarp on the back....one of me favorites but the fuel costs were double me Aurions so she had to go ;0(.

2007 Suzuki Jimny 4x4 red and silver....another new reliable suzi but surprisingly again v/heavy on fuel for such a small car and i decided if that was the case then go the whole hog and get a big car!

2009 Toyota Aurion ATX update model....another new/white car. This is by far the best car i've owned and the difference in fuel costs is amazing in favour of the Toyota, must have something to do with engine refinement etc. First car i've done mods on aswell. Will prolly get another Toyota when time comes.

Cheers cam :D
