What did you do to your car today?

Recommended Posts

Since I wasn't going anywhere today or tonight, I decided to do my 120,000km service. Oil has been draining for the last few hours... will leave that one till late afternoon, and have just washed out the air filter and will recharge that tonight once it is thoroughly dry.

Cleaned up the gutter rash on one of my wheels, looks alot better now,if your not looking to close that is and also gave the grille a sand and another coat of black paint to hide all those messy stonechips, once again turned out ok if not studied to closely

might post so pics in my members ride later :)

and also gave her a way overdue wash....20 days is the longest it has gone dirty for since purchased :(

ZRE had its 140,000km service today (unfortunately only got to 132,000km before the 6mths were up) and had the TRD GT / Performance / "blue" brake pads fitted. I'll find out how well they go once they have bedded in and the latest bonus round (double points) has finished.

I didn't do anything, but the wifey did. As she damaged one of the rims on the Yaris the other day, she has purchased a 5th matching Enkei rim to replace it, therefore relagating the damaged one, which will have a cheap tyre put on, as a spare.

She used my account to pay for it haha

At least now, she won't have to worry about using the steelie now

Trent and I (mostly Trent) installed a wideband. And the car was given the tick of approval from Trent in regards to the transformed handling!!! Now we can mash the pedal mid corner and not need to worry about understeer.

Was an easy job for the most and the drive with the LSD leaves the car much more poised and put the power down much more effectively.

Weight reduction. Took out most of the custom boot install of the stereo, all the door trims. I reckon I saved about 50kg. If I can be bothered taking the sub box out that would be another 10kg right there too.
